I lead women in creating magnetic content that brings them business and feels juicy and aligned for their souls, but that’s nowhere near where I started…

My dirty little secret? I worked in the fashion industry for nearly 10 years (think Club Monaco, Hugo Boss, Jessica Simpson) building digital brands (think strategy, marketing, and ops). And let me tell you, it sounded really good on paper - the samples, the post-Fashion Week parties, the high heels, the glam. But I always felt like something was missing. Like there had to be something more. Like this couldn’t possibly be all there was.

So, I started side hustling in my quest for a creative outlet and even the smallest sense of personal fulfillment. I started my blog, Caro’s City, in 2016, and I began sharing photos of my travels, what I was cooking, and my NYC restaurant explorations on my personal Instagram. Influencer partnerships started to come knocking at my door. I grew and I grew. But I still never thought of Instagram as a career for myself.

Where I was in my last corporate job, managing the digital platforms for Chobani and truly burnt out to the max, brands started reaching out to me about helping them with their Instagram. And they were finding me via my Instagram. This planted a seed for me - that I could both generate leads and build a business via my Instagram. Talk about a lightbulb moment. This was the beginning of my entrepreneurial journey as I knew it.

SO. I left the corporate world in 2018 years ago to start my own biz as a Social Media Strategist for brands, and I used Instagram and the incredible relationship building that happens on the platform as a storefront for my business. Here’s what I realized - the more I thought of myself not as a strategist or consultant but as a personal brand, the more I was able to dial in my content so that I was telling stories through my messaging… this is what truly resonated and called in the people that I wanted to work with. That I dreamed of working with.

Quite literally - The more I let people into my life and my inner world and the more I was a real human with them, the more my business grew. 

So these past few years, as I was building my biz, what I was also building was a really beautiful community and support system of fellow female entrepreneurs. And what I kept hearing from fellow female entrepreneurs was how stressful, and draining, and complicated Instagram felt for them. Messaging felt for them. Writing felt for them. Cue the second lightbulb moment. I recognized that all of my lived experience, my joy, my passion had been leading me to this place - the place from which I could support and empower other female business owners.

So, in 2020, I launched my coaching business. Now, I help female biz owners translate their magic into messaging that grows their businesses. And it is pure, unadulterated MAGICAL transformation for them.
